this place is the best 3 weeks ago I broke my muffler on a Sunday I could not find a open muffler shop anywhere till I got to Pomeroy's muffler shop best service in Santa Ana there workers are nice and great it was a hot day and the offered us some cold water or a cold soda im sure going to come back soon

I had a great experience at Pomeroy's, I called in beforehand to get a price quote to get a muffler installed onto my 2012 Civic Coupe. The price I was given on the phone is the same price I paid once it was finished. The employee's are extremely nice, which is a big A+ for me. I like to educate myself about what I do with my car, and they were nice enough to let me watch everything. They even gave me a nice cold bottle of water on a 100 degree day. Super nice people and great shop overall!

Great place and service....

I had a rattle from the exhaust. Went to A-1 Muffler and they would not even look at my car. Went to Pomperoy's and $20 and ten minutes later after a quick weld, no more rattle.

After searching online for a decent place to have a catalytic converter installed, I came accross Pomeroys and found that they are convenviently open late until 7pm. Once I arrived I was greeted by Raul who advised me that since he did not have time to perform a tune up that I should wait to have a new catalytic converter installed because his honest opinion was that my engine's misfire could damage it plus he said it could end up smelling worse. I on the other hand knew that the way my van was driving, it needed to be done now so I went against his initial advice and asked him to install it. Not only was Raul very helpful but his staff were very knowledgable and had me out of there within 30 mins and now my van runs great plus there is no longer a smell! Pomeroy's not only specializes in mufflers and exhaust systems but they also do tune-ups, breaks and many other automotive services! If your looking for an honest, reasonable repair shop go here! I even got a free t-shirt!

lets just say if you need inexpensive work done, GO HERE. I've gotten myself different exhaust setups here ON THE CHEAP. I've also recommended friends here and they have no complains on quality and price. They have a mandrel bending machine, BUT a time i was getting an 2.5 mandrel bent catback done the dude broke the thing that goes into the pipe while bending and they havent replaced it since. So you are out of luck for 2.5 Mandrel bent piping. They can do any regular bent size piping for you cheap too! THey also have done motorcycles for me, and welded random junk i needed for minor mods on things i own. GO HERE. you wont be disappointed.

Ultimately referred here through a series of a phone calls to indisposed/under-equipped service centers, I decided to take a chance on this place-- which, as far as I know, is best avoided in the automotive repair industry. That it worked out has inspired me to actually(!) contribute to the Yelp community. In less time than it took to have a sandwich and coffee at the nearby Gypsy Den, Raul (the guy in charge, apparently) welded a new muffler onto my decrepit, beach rust-eaten, tinnitus-inducing exhaust system...and for a whole hell of a lot less than I was expecting to pay. Beyond the competent, honest muffler service, the fact that this place is open until 4 on a Saturday should be reason enough to check it out.
