I started looking around for a catalytic converter. Raul told me that since my car is still new, I'd have to go to the dealer. I told him what was going on with my check engine light, and he suggested to use the premium fuel for a few tanks and see if it changes anything. I'm glad that he gave me a suggestion even though I couldn't be one of their customers. If the gas thing works, it will save me over $1000.

Found this place on Yelp while searching for a shop to change the catalytic converters on my car. Since I need FOUR of those mofos, this is a big job and I can't pass smog unless it's done right... so this was an important choice. I live about 20 miles from this shop but that isn't really important. I need it done right the first time. I called a few days earlier to see what I could learn about the cost and time involved. Raul was very informative on the phone, gave me a firm price which I was about what I was expecting, and was generally polite and quick. I said I would come in on Monday, and that was that. On Monday I arrived to find a very clean and organized shop, with what appeared to be happy workers busy working away. I was directed to Raul, who took the keys and got to work. He was on the job and worked about 3 hours solid under my car and did a fantastic job. There's a waiting area with cable TV, coffee and sodas, and even a little bench out front to watch Santa Ana people walk by. If you want to eat, there is a great burger place across the street, and CVS, RiteAid and Pep Boys are at the next light if you want to walk around like I did. McDonald's is at the next light and down one block. I won't bore you by going into too much detail, but this job required some detailed fabrication and superior knowledge of emissions systems and these people know all of that. I left the shop, went for my smog check and passed with no measurable emissions. Yup, ZERO. From a car that has not passed the smog inspection since 2006... that's pretty good. Thanks Raul and friends for doing a great job and making it easy!

I had a great experience at Pomeroy's, I called in beforehand to get a price quote to get a muffler installed onto my 2012 Civic Coupe. The price I was given on the phone is the same price I paid once it was finished. The employee's are extremely nice, which is a big A+ for me. I like to educate myself about what I do with my car, and they were nice enough to let me watch everything. They even gave me a nice cold bottle of water on a 100 degree day. Super nice people and great shop overall!

I had a rattle from the exhaust. Went to A-1 Muffler and they would not even look at my car. Went to Pomperoy's and $20 and ten minutes later after a quick weld, no more rattle.
