Needed a new catalytic converter on my Honda. Called around to get quotes. Talked to Jose on a Sunday (how many places like this are even open on a Sunday) and he took the time to talk to me and tell me where to look to give him a certain code # on the car so he can give me an accurate quote. I asked why other shops I called never mentioned the #, he said because they will give you a price and then once you bring it in, they will look at the code # to see the accurate converter required and then possibly raise the price. I appreciate Juan's honesty and I took the car in. As soon as I got there he put the car up on the rack and showed me the converter was bad (also confirmed by the check engine light and problem code). He had a new one on in no time while I waited. Installed an aftermarket exhaust with a design flaw in the flanges which caused a metallic rattle upon acceleration. Pomeroy spot welded the flanges and eliminated the rattle permanently within 1 minute. Excellent, no nonsense, and knowledgeable in their craft.

EDIT: The shop used to care about customers. I was quoted an outrageous price for a simple job. Went somewhere else instead. Ive had good, ok, and bad experiences here. This place has become HIT OR MISS!!

I just had my catalytic converter replaced today and had the best service. Raul was very informative and provided excellent service. I was in and out within a half hour. Took my Acura TL Type-S and they did exactly what I wanted, quicker than I imagined, same day as I called!

I owned a Toyota Sienna 2005 XLE limited and I had a noise when accelerating. I took it to this mechanic shop and he showed me that the gasket is finished and need to replaced with a flex pipe. Took him 10 mins to fix while I was on the phone and wallah car is running like NEW.

Another good job done. I brought my other car in to get my brakes done and found out that the rear calipers need to be replaced. Izmael did a good job explaining why it needs to be changed and he even helped me find the part quickly at a very reasonable price. I can't imagine how much the Lexus dealer will charge me...yikes! It's hard to find a good and honest auto repair shop who values customer satisfaction. I will say it again....I got lucky to have found one. Pomeroy's, keep up the good work guys!
