I am thoroughly impressed by this muffler shop! Juan helped me and I also got to meet and chat with the others, there. I felt each person was very knowledgeable as well as professional, honest, sincere and friendly! It is also a family run business, which I like. They have high quality products there that they use, and can also order parts quickly, if needed. I had brought in my own cat back system and a CA compliant Catalytic converter and tailpipe tip-which turned out to be the wrong size so Juan showed me what he had in stock and I loved what he recommended to me and bought it at a great price from him. I brought my own parts in because, originally, I was going to install them, myself with the help of my son. I decided I wanted to get it done sooner, plus, I was concerned that it would be more complicated and difficult than we were assuming since my car is a 1994 and new to me, so I searched for the most recommended muffler shops in my area that would be willing to install the parts I already had. I am so glad that I did! Things were more difficult, but of course, for them, it was all pretty normal. Pipes had to be cut and welded, and I certainly wouldn't have been prepared to do that, myself! They did a beautiful job! I got to watch them and look at their work while it was up on the lift. Very impressive! They kept me safe, politely reminding me to watch my head or where I was stepping. I liked that. I also appreciate how transparent they are in regards to letting a person know what they are doing and what they recommend, if anything. No pressure to do more than asked, either. I felt like family, actually! As it turned, out, I stayed for several hours due to the fact that I knowingly had a serious starter or fuel pump problem and almost couldn't get it up to their shop, to begin with. I want to point out, that this is another project I intended to work on with my sons, so I knew the risk I was taking when I chose to drive there and get the exhaust system worked on: Would I make it there, without getting stranded? Would I make it back home in the car after the work on the exhaust system was done? Haha, well, my little car decided it wanted to stay at the shop with the nice people! They had been understanding that this was a project car to work on with my sons, so they didn't pressure me to have them fix that issue. After a while, I did ask Juan if I could leave my car with them and have their mechanic look at it in the morning. He respectfully agreed. I am excited to see what the mechanic finds this morning! I know he will solve the mystery of what's wrong. Obviously, I highly recommend Pomeroy's Muffler shop.
